Oh My PERIOD! - A workshop on menstrual health, social stigma practices and period poverty
Some pictures from Oh My PERIOD! workshop held in Islampur, Rampur Municipality - 04, where we had an open discussion with mothers on menstrual hygiene management and importance of educating their daughters about menstruation before they reach menarche.
Response form this workshop was over whelming. Many issues and concerns related to menstrual hygiene were discussed. Participants came up with interesting yet simple ideas for the activity. Thanks to Health Services and Relief Association, Nepal - Hesra Nepal and Peace First organization for supporting our cause. |

RAMPUR READING PROJECT - "म पनि पुस्तकालय जान्छु"
Rampur Youth Council is introducing a new movement entitled as RAMPUR READING PROJECT - "म पनि पुस्तकालय जान्छु" which aims to help children realize the joy of reading books at a library.

ASK THE DOCTOR- Know All About Pregnancy & Gynecological Problems
The stigmatization of Gynecological health has been a long lasting issue that is not improving, Not only women are hesitant to talk about their health problems but they often hide it.
With an objective to create awareness and break taboos, Rampur youth Council and HeSRA Nepal jointly conducted the “ASK THE DOCTOR- Know All About Pregnancy & Gynecological Problems" session to the women residing at Rampur Municipality-4. During the session, around 70+ women were educated about the different types of Gynecological issues and their precautions by the expert Dr. Shaheen Ansari. |

Menstruation Awareness & Hygiene Management session - FempowerFempower is women empowerment campaign which aims in developing their skills and providing them learning opportunities to enable them a leadership role in not only their households but in the society eventually help lower the rate of gender discrimination.

National Children's Day - Project Udaan
Rampur Youth Council is introducing a project called Project-Udaan. It is a social initiative for children aged between 8 to 14 years old to fill the little space of innocence every child has with love, hope and happiness.
It aims on delivering hope, to those who never had the privilege of opportunity, children who wish to fly out in beautiful colors and live up their dreams, to heal up their tears into smiles and delight, to reach out to them and to inspire them and to adorn their lives with some of the very wonderful moments. |
